Misconduct hearing outcome for a serving Leicestershire police officer
A hearing into the conduct of a Leicestershire officer has found that the allegations were not proved.
The gross misconduct hearing, which took place at headquarters last week (Tuesday to Friday), was to examine allegations of inappropriate touching of a work colleague while off duty on 26 August 2022.
The hearing considered whether the behaviour breached the standards of professional behaviour, namely: authority, respect and courtesy; equality and diversity; and discreditable conduct.
The Legally Qualified Chair directed that the anonymity of the officer and witnesses should be maintained to protect the welfare and vulnerabilities of all involved, which is why they are not named.
