Pop Up Art Exhibition Celebrates Local Talent

A pop up art exhibition is currently open in Church Street, Oakham, showcasing the work of local artists. The exhibition, which is being run by local artist Juliette Brasher, features a wide variety of art, including paintings, sculptures, jewellery, and textiles.

The artists who are exhibiting their work at the pop up gallery come from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. Some are professional artists who have been exhibiting their work for many years, while others are just starting out. The exhibition is a great opportunity for art lovers to discover new talent and to support local artists.

In addition to the pop up art exhibition, there are also several other art events taking place in Oakham this month. The Rutland Open Studios is an annual event that allows visitors to see the work of artists in their own studios. The open studios will be running from September 9 to 24.

Another event that art lovers should not miss is the Equine Art Day, which will be held on September 30 at the Rutland Pop Up Art Exhibition. This event will feature art inspired by horses, including paintings, sculptures, and photography.

The pop up art exhibition is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays. Admission is free.
