HSBC Oakham, Rutland's Last Bank, to Close in May 2024

HSBC, the last remaining high-street bank in Oakham, will close its doors on May 28th, 2024.

A new Banking Hub will open, at the former Lloyds building on 43 High Street, will provide a central location for various banking needs.

Banking Hub Opening: Early April 2024 (exact date to be confirmed)

Banking Hub Location: 43 High Street, Oakham (former Lloyds building)

Services Offered: Most banking services traditionally offered by major banks and the Post Office, combined under one roof.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Representatives from specific banks will be available at the hub on designated days:

Monday - Barclays

Tuesday - NatWest

Wednesday - Santander

Thursday - Lloyds

Friday - HSBC

Although operated and plastered with the Post Office Logo, The Banking Hub is not a post office and does not offer services like sending parcels or buying stamps.

Foreign currency services are also unavailable.
