Oakham Town Council to Host D-Day Commemoration Event
Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day Landings
Oakham Town Council will be holding a special events at Cutts Close Park in Oakham, Rutland to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
6th June a beacon lighting at Cutts Close, Oakham Rutland.
This significant event remembers the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, during World War II.

Location: Cutts Close Park, Oakham, Rutland.
Entertainment:
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Live music by Alan Jackson, a solo male singer specialising in vintage tunes.
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Marlow & Smith, a duo performing popular song covers.
Food and refreshments:
Food stalls will be available throughout the event.
The Grainstore mobile bar will also be open drinks.
