Rutland's Great Dementia Conversation: Let's Talk About Dementia with Angela Rippon

Rutland MP Alicia Kearns is hosting a free event, "Let's Talk About Dementia: with Angela Rippon," as part of Rutland's Great Dementia Conversation. This event aims to raise awareness about dementia and how Rutland can become a more dementia-friendly community.

- Ian Sheriff B.E.M., a leading dementia policy and research figure, will discuss how rural communities can achieve dementia awareness.
- Liz Hitchens M.A., a founding member of Dementia Friendly Parishes, will share her experience in creating dementia-aware communities.
- Dr. Tomasina Oh, a dementia research expert, will focus on post-diagnostic support in GP practices.
- Dr. Rupert Noad, a consultant neuropsychologist, will address early-onset dementia and its detection.
- David FitzGerald, a media consultant, will discuss how media can better cater to those with dementia.
- Hilary Cragg, a legal expert on dementia, will talk about the legal framework surrounding dementia.
