Rutland Day, a celebration of the county's heritage and community spirit, was marked with a series of festivities in the historic town of Oakham.

Rutland Day, a celebration of the county's heritage and community spirit, was marked with a series of festivities in the historic town of Oakham. 

The Lord Lieutenant of Rutland, Sarah Furness, attended with the High Sheriff, Richard Cole, and his cadet 

Morris Dancers Danced at Oakham Castle as part of their walk and dance around Oakham.

The castle grounds buzzed with activity as visitors of all ages enjoyed a variety of historic and interactive events. Archery demonstrations showcased the skill and precision of traditional archers,  

The beautiful weather added to the festive atmosphere, creating a perfect day for families and friends to come together and celebrate Rutland's unique identity.
