Festive Cheer Shines Through the Rain at Oakham's Christmas Fair

The persistent drizzle and classic wet chill of a winter Sunday failed to dampen the spirits of the community today, as people ventured into Oakham for the Sunday Christmas Fair. Despite the inclement weather, the town center was busy with activity, proving that the festive spirit is strong enough to conquer any amount of rain.

Visitors explored the variety of stalls, with some warmly sheltered across two key locations, Victoria Hall, the grounds and Great Hall of Oakham Castle.

Inside the Victoria Hall, vendors offered a treasure trove of gifts, crafts, and festive treats.

Just a short walk away, Oakham Castle, under cover, shoppers browsed unique items and enjoyed seasonal food and drink.
