A Night of Unexpected Delights at Apple Blossom Pink Home & Lifestyle, The Market Place, Oakham, Rutland.

A Night of Unexpected Delights at Apple Blossom Pink Home & Lifestyle, The Market Place, Oakham, Rutland.

Oakham Market Place came alive with a charming late-night shopping event at the brand new Apple Blossom Pink Home & Lifestyle. Nestled in the former Cancer Research shop, Michelle, the proprietor, has transformed the space into a haven for all things beautiful. It was a joy to discover this gem, knowing it will grace the marketplace for the next ten months.

But the evening held far more than just browsing shelves of stylish homewares and unique gifts. Michelle, with a true eye for fostering creativity, has carved out an art space within the shop. It was a privilege to meet some of the talented local artists whose works adorned the walls. Their artistic expressions added a vibrant layer to the already delightful ambiance.

As we browsed the charming collection, an unexpected treat unfolded. A street busker, decided to serenade us with his music and songs, His melodies filled the air, adding a touch of magic to the evening.

Michelle, the consummate hostess, ensured our comfort and enjoyment. Delectable canapés, courtesy of Sarpech, tantalised our taste buds, while Harish, the owner of Oakham Wines, generously provided a selection of his finest wines. The combination of art, music, delicious food, and good company created an atmosphere that was both intimate and lively.

It's clear that Apple Blossom Pink isn't just a shop; it's a destination. Michelle's passion for art, homeware, and fostering a sense of community shines through in every detail. If you're looking for a unique shopping experience, a taste of local artistry, then Apple Blossom Pink is a must-visit. Make sure to pop in before the ten months are up – you won't be disappointed!

The Falcon Hotel, The Market Place, Uppingham, Rutland, Afternoon Tea, Photographs

The Falcon Hotel The Market Place
UPPINGHAM
Rutland

Today was my birthday, I was content with the idea of celebrating at the Age UK Coffee shop
in Uppingham, which also has a nice selection of books, DVD's and CD's to buy, but after
a nice walk around Eyebrook reservoir, we were a little too late.

A friend treated me to the most delicious and affordable afternoon tea at the newly restored
Falcon Hotel.

The service was great and the various staff were all very happy and friendly.as welcoming as the warm fire was.

The loo's were sparkling and spotless.
