Role Overview & Compensation
Salary: £32,061 to £42,839 per annum
Additional Financials: £3,000 market supplement included
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Fixed Term, 2 years)
Location: Catmose, Rutland (LE15 6HP) — Full driving licence required

Key Responsibilities
Working at the front door means serving as the first point of contact for adults needing assistance, advice, or intervention. Core duties include:
Triage & Assessment: Screening incoming referrals efficiently and conducting strengths-based Care Act assessments.
Safeguarding & Mental Capacity: Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments, making Best Interest decisions, and responding proactively to safeguarding concerns.
Collaborative Working: Partnering closely with health colleagues, local agencies, and informal carers to design outcome-focused support plans.
Case Management: Facilitating personal budgets, direct payments, and maintaining accurate records aligned with professional standards.

Candidate Requirements

A professional social work qualification and active Social Work England registration.

Working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and adult safeguarding duties.
Strong communication skills and a full UK driving
licence for travel across the county.
