A606 Rutland Closed For Resurfacing until 10th October 2015
Since Rutland County Council closed one of our main
road I have been surprised to see how many people
drive without noticing warning signs, Like the
lorry drive above who did not see the sign and turned
at the last minute towards Rutland Water, he eventually
reversed back out onto the main road when he must
have realised he was not driving an amphibious truck.
He should have spotted the diversion sign some way back
and turned right.
Walking to Barnsdale Lodge yesterday late afternoon
I noticed what looks like carpet underlay is to make up
part of the new surface on the hill.
there is skip is full of good solid cardboard tubes, lets
hope they will be recycled.
