Music lovers in Oakham and beyond are in for a treat this Saturday, July 12th, 2025, as the esteemed Rutland Choral Society presents its highly anticipated Summer Concert. The performance, a "celebration of British choral music," will take place at the beautiful All Saints Church in Oakham, LE15 6AA, beginning at 7:30 PM.

Under the skilled direction of Musical Director Jamie Conway, and with the accompaniment of Ivan Linford, the Rutland Choral Society promises an evening of enchanting harmonies and stirring melodies. MEP Roger Helmer UKIP shouting/speaking amongst the dead with party members Margot Parker, Jonathan Bullock, Nigel Wickens and Barry Mahoney in the Church Yard, All saints Church Oakham Rutland

East Midlands MEP Roger Helmer was joined by fellow party members Margot Parker, Jonathan Bullock, Nigel Wickens and Barry Mahoney in the Church Yard of All saints Church Oakham Rutland.

Was he predicting the death of his party?

UKIP leader, clearly not a fighter predicted second place in a recent major by-election and that came true, what is the point of a party that does not want to win? Or could it be the Rev Lee Dequani has dumped his Conservative friends and joined UKIP?

The purpose of their disgraceful churchyard invasion was to show off the five UK Independence Party candidates and launch their campaign for this year’s European Parliament elections.

We used to have many local Tories parking there cars on consecrated graves now we have to put up with UKIP shouting amongst the dead. Well who else will listen to them?

The UKIP Candidates spoke to party supporters I assume they were living at the time? they revealed their manifesto for the elections, which will be held between May 22 and 25.

The Rutland Times has published an awful video, running time 29 seconds they describe it as Roger Helmer summing up on the entire UKIP policy. 29 seconds sums up UKIP Policy?

Was there not once some contraversy after a seniour Tory made a political film with the poppy included
just behind the MEP are small poppies in the garden of remembrance to local soldiers, Oh well at least he never stood on the war memorial or has he saved those photos for next weeks papers and election leaflets?
