The start of the meeting was delayed Cllr Alan Walters was very late but not as late as
the Chair who thought the meeting started at a half hour later.
Cllr James Lammie sat in the chair I was not sure if he was wearing his skirt or high
heels behind his desk as he felt the public might be a bit confused and told us he was not
Mrs McDuff to avoid any confusion.

Rutland County Council currently has a serious problem with social services
and that is nothing new and they are trying to keep a lid on the issue.

The public are complaining and nothing is being done.

Only the other day I was waiting in the Rutland County Council reception and
a lady said you are Town Councillor can you not do some thing to sort out
Rutland County Council social services. Unfortunately I can't, this is not the
first resident that has raised an issue.

From this meeting I can see the council is having a staffing issue. Sadly I think
Rutland County Council social services department is heading towards being
the next big headline.
