Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM Dishonesty is a habit Guys and Dolls

For some time I have not supported Cllr Lucas's apologies for absence from Council meetings as I suspected her family commitment reason was not honest.

This week her own words prove her last apologies was a lie.

In her garbage column published in the Rutland Times she confirms what was suspected, she attended a local musical theatre event instead of the council meeting.

Oakham Town Council does not follow the attendance rules. Members should be disqualified if they miss more than six meetings in a year, the old guard like Cllr Lucas are exempt from this kind of rule
and are permitted to lie about their absence.

At the last planning meeting many of the members refused to accept Cllr Lucas's apology.

Time to retire Cllr Lucas.
