Exton Day 2016

Exton Day is taking place for the fourth year running raising funds for ‘Villagers For Exton Church’ which is helping to keep the beautiful church in Exton St Peter and St Paul open. When the fund raising began the church was in real danger of closing, since these efforts many improvements have been made and with continued effort it is hoped to enable a wc and small servery which would in turn make the church a more comfortable venue.
Exton Day is a family fun day with competitions and stalls, around the beautiful village, a dog show in the afternoon on the village green, refreshments, and usually a visit from the Morris Men of Rutland. Enquiries are welcome from craft/art/ stall holders /musicians and others who would like to show their wares. Offers too of prizes are very welcome for this very worthwhile cause.
