Armed Forces Week, Flag Raising, Oakham, Rutland, Photographs

This morning Rutland County Council raised the Armed Forces Day
flag outside Rutland County Library here in Oakham.

The event is political, also an opportunity for a few to thank current
serving forces.

This year saw a better turn out, numbers boosted by the attendance
of pupils from Catmose College

more charitable fundraising than Lucas only received a piece of paper
from last years High Sheriff, whilst she received the lowest available
award from the queen a BEM. Things are never fair.
