We found this a good cheap place to stop for dinner, when you
see a sign 2 for £10 main meals you don't expect much, I was
surprised by what we had this evening.

I enjoyed the gammon steak.

The service was good.

If the new Old Buttercross being built here in Oakham
serves the same food at the same price* I think it will
be a very popular place to eat.

*another large pub in Oakham charges more for food,
most of the time, I understand its described as regional
pricing,

I found the lighting amusing.
