Honda Gold Wing Owners Club: Oakham Rutland Ready for National Treffen
Oakham, England – The Honda Gold Wing Owners Club of Great Britain is gearing up for its annual Treffen, a grand gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts, which translates to "Gathering of Friends." From Thursday, August 22nd to Monday, 26th, the Rutland Showground will transform into a vibrant hub for Gold Wing owners.
As the event draws near, a steady influx of these iconic motorcycles is expected to descend upon Oakham. Organisers anticipate a significant boost to local businesses as attendees explore the town and enjoy its hospitality. In preparation for the influx of visitors, the club has been actively engaging with local authorities.
The event will also be helping to raise funds for the Rutland Lions.
A highlight of the Treffen will undoubtedly be the spectacular Light Parade on Friday evening, featuring approximately 9pm, and the Parade of Nations on Saturday afternoon around 5pm. Both parades will see the participation of Mayor Adam Lowe, creating a truly memorable experience for locals and visitors alike.
