This week JD Weatherspoon purchased the old British Legion
Building.

Some members of the public are not welcoming the chain.

I am sure the group must be aware of this so why make matters
worse by putting up ugly metal boarding. complete with ready made
graffiti. This is not the East End of London, it is not required here in
The West End of Oakham.

Weatherspoons are not expecting to open up before this time next year.

Lets hope they don't do the same in Stamford once they acquire the Stamford Mercury Building
