The Dogs, The Grainstore Brewery, Station Approach, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6R
The Dogs - Saturday 17th November - 8.30pm
Andy's got too many guitars for his own good - but it's his Fender Tele that makes the best noise - obviously! He does do a bit of singing too, catch him at the start of Wonderstuff's Golden Green. Tim plays a Yamaha acoustic and does a mean impersonation of Paul Carrack. It's probably his rendition of Steve Earl's Copperhead Road that brings out the best in him. John plays a Fender Bass and has some rig that looks like it came out of the Tardis and can turn back time. Hasn't worked on him though! Check out his funky bass bits in Take Your Mamma. Martin plays a bashed up Sonor kit and tries to find the odd harmony note, not with much success but the rest of the boys are too deaf (or kind) to notice.

Sticky Fingers, The Grainstore Brewery, Station Approach, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6R
Sticky Fingers - Saturday 1st December
STICKY FINGERS, from 8.30pm
We were caught between a ‘Rock and a Hard Place’ when we asked these fellas to return to the Grainstore. Maybe we shouldn’t ‘Play with Fire’ or have ‘Mixed Emotions’ because Sticky Fingers really are ‘Hot Stuff’. All the ‘Wild Horses’ couldn’t drag you away once these guys ‘Let it Rock’. ‘You cant Always Get What You Want’, but Sticky Fingers wont ‘Sway’ from the great Rolling Stones numbers that they gloriously cover. You will feel ‘So Young’ as you are Jumpin like Jack Flash himself
