Leicestershire Police Former PC Anthony Moffatt faced allegations that between 28 July 2017 and 12 July 2018 he breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of using police vehicles while on duty
Leicestershire Police Former PC Anthony Moffatt faced allegations that between 28 July 2017 and 12 July 2018 he breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of using police vehicles while on duty, namely: orders and instructions; discreditable conduct; and, duties and responsibilities
at a hearing at Leicestershire Police Headquarters
These breaches were founded, and were Mr Moffatt still an officer with the force, he would have been dismissed without notice for breaching the standards of professional behaviour.
Whilst A serving police officer he was convicted for speeding whilst driving a force vehicle.
Tony Moffatt was on duty when he broke the limit in the police car.
The conviction relates to him going 70mph on a stretch of the A6 with a 50mph limit at Quorn.
Pc Anthony Moffatt had previously along with Detective Officer Glenn Freeman receive an award for saving the life of a woman who attempted to kill herself in Leicester.
