Apple Blossom Pink Home & Lifestyle Announces Relocation to Peterborough, Oakham Market Place, Closing Down Sale

Apple Blossom Pink Home & Lifestyle, Market Place Oakham, Rutland

A local shop, Apple Blossom Pink Home & Lifestyle, will be closing its doors in Oakham Market Place. However, owner Michelle Carolissen assures customers this isn't goodbye, but rather a new chapter.

“It’s a bittersweet moment,” Michelle says. “Since opening in February, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of this wonderful town. But for practical reasons, including family commitments like the school run, I’ve decided to relocate the shop to Peterborough.”

Michelle emphasises that Apple Blossom Pink is not closing down. “While Oakham has been a fantastic launching pad, I believe the move will provide better long-term stability for the business,” she explains.

Oakham residents who have come to love the shop’s unique selection of homeware, fashion, and gifts can express their gratitude for Michelle’s warmth and service. “Meeting so many lovely people, some of whom have become friends, has been a highlight,” Michelle reflects.

Saying Farewell with a Big Sale

Before the doors close for good, Apple Blossom Pink is hosting a massive closing sale this Friday and Saturday. “Everything Must Go!” declares Michelle, encouraging customers to grab a bargain on their favourite products.

This is a chance to thank the Oakham community for their support and to share in the excitement of a new beginning for Apple Blossom Pink.

Stay Connected

While the physical shop in Oakham is closing, Michelle invites customers to stay connected:

  • Email: michelle@appleblossompink.com
  • Phone: 07580 282 467

We wish Michelle all the best in her new chapter at the Apple Blossom Pink store in Peterborough.

Another good performance by the band.

Always difficult to capture good images throughout the event due to the confined space of the market place and the time the light starts to vanish at this time of the evening. This September was fine others have been very dull and grey.

Thank you to the Whipper In Hotel for allowing me the use of one of their windows up above the market place. www.brook-hotels.co.uk/whipperin

Oakham Festival 2013, Oakfest, Photographs, Oakham Castle, Oakham Market Place

I was so pleased the sun made an appearance today for the festival.

Performances started at 11.30am this morning in the market place where a lone performer was joined
by many more musicians and singers in a flash mob style. After this it was off to the castle.

No thanks to the few horrible officers of Leicestershire police and Rutland County Council or Oakham Town Council I managed to zoom from the gates the following images.

What was very funny about this idiotic malicious ban is that anyone connect to that mob who might
not have wanted to be photographed by me had to pass me on the way in and out. I decided not to photograph some of them because they were too ugly for this set....

pay for them so I had to send them back.
