applications he said if Langham a village can why cant the town council.
I find once again Oakham Town Councillors are giving up their time to comment on planning
applications, only for our office to once again ignore our comments when sending email
responses to Rutland County Council.
It is very frustrating and at a time when planning meetings have improved and we
were giving more comments.
It is no surprise Rutland County Council ignore us when we do eventually get a comment
through.
It looks like I am going to have to return to sending my own comments direct to
the County Council again!
Dear Michael Haley Chairman,
I once left a planning sub committee when I found the former clerk was not sending
Rutland County Council our comments. This did start to improve when I pointed it out.
I now find we are meeting as a planning committee and our comments are not
being passed to Rutland County Council.
It is not our job to just recommend approval. we are consulted and are expected to
give comment to the planning department it is our statuary duty.
I wonder if it is even worth us having a planning committee any more, if we are giving our time
and commenting only to find none of those comments are being passed onto
Rutland County Council?
