Oakham Town Councillors Joyce Lucas BEM and Martin Brookes Lead a motion of No Confidence in Chairman Cllr Michael Haley

Oakham Town Councillors Joyce Lucas BEM and Martin Brookes Lead a motion of No Confidence in Chairman Cllr Michael Haley

For some unknown reason Cllr Michael Haley have placed this on next weeks agenda as the
last item and made it exempt.

Cllr Haley is a bully and he has particular problem with the ladies on the council.
he shouts at them and treats them very rudely.

Cllr Haley also treats me very unfairly any council meeting video will show his reaction
towards me each time I attempt to speak at a meeting he interrupts me.

Last year a conduct complaint was upheld against him because he does not follow
standing orders at meetings.

Cllr Haley thinks he runs the council.

At the last meeting I once again raised my concern that Oakham Town Council is
having no input into the Neighbourhood Plan and we were not being provided with
comprehensive reports. The NP Steering group is a working group of the council community
led it has cost a fortune and no grants have been applied for to cover costs. Cllr Haley
told me I should not attack the group. I was not. I simply as a Councillor want to
know what he and his group are doing.

At next weeks meeting I will be proposing the agenda item is moved and it is not made
exempt.
