At a time when libraries are being closed down and the very future of the book is being
questioned, let's give a cheer for the book swap. Organized last year by the UK newspaper,
the Guardian, think of it as a generous act of recycling.

When you have finished reading your book, why not place a note inside like the one below and leave the book in a public place for another to enjoy. You don't need to waste resources by printing such a glossy label as the one below. I once found a book on the bench opposite Wilko here in Oakham it just had a scrap of paper inside.
