Jonathan had set out to run a half marathon each day during December until Christmas day, unfortunately he suffered a injury on day six.

Jonathan posted:

"The last 48 hours have been the most difficult of my life. Suddenly at 11.30am I had a break down and my body couldn’t physically cope. So I’ve decided to alter the challenge to bring more people together against suicide. Each half marathon moving forward will be made up of distances of each individual that takes part with me. ( for example if 3 people run 7.1k each that would reach the total.) I can’t thank everyone enough for their support. We are so close to the goal of 5k donations. I will set out shortly 3 dates where I run a full half marathon and will make up todays distance in due course."

I have been running every day since June this year, I started using the couchto5k app. I had become one fat person or fat bastard which ever you prefer, I could not even bend down to tie my shoe lace. I found the running hard it has got easier and I can manage at least 5k each day. I have lost 13 kilos, I am no longer so fat. Sometimes I run 10k and that is hard work. After reading about Jonathan's task and how people were helping him complete the runs, I decided to run 20k to help. I did that this morning. I am not sure how I completed the 20k. I thought I was very slow and interestingly I completed the 20k within average beginners time for a older person like me. I have highlighted the average time with a yellow highlight below.

If you could donate to Jonathan's worthy cause, it would also make my effort feel very worthwhile thank you.
