It is a great shame this ward has not been contested it would have given voters the chance to get rid
of Cllr Adam Lowe.

I am pleased Paul Ainsley has joined the council as he has indicated he wants to see changes made
at the council.


Cllr Peter Ind has stood down, his email shows how Oakham Town Councillors expect public apathy.

The list of candidates has been published. Having given considerable thought to the future I decided not to seek re election.As expected we have 3"candidates for the NW Ward so that they are selected without the cost of counting.

I was not expecting this as I know people who belong to Joys residents group completed nomination packs, but for some unknown reason they decided not to deliver them to the returning officer.
