Good Afternoon
I have completed my report into your complaints. It is currently with the Appropriate Authority for review and final decision. As such timescales are out of my hands but you should expect a conclusion shortly.
Your request for an update is appropriate and I would conceded overdue; #####################
There is no particular desire from our point of view to keep the findings relating to your complaint confidential; however the process would be that it is provided to you individually. I believe that it is only right that you are able to read the report yourself and make any response, within the terms of the guidance, that you feel appropriate.
I have no personal knowledge of the case involving Sergeant Wharton.
Wishing you a happy Christmas Mr Brookes.
Kind Regards

Leicestershire Police & Rutland County Council Corruption Former Councillors Complaints investigated by anti corruption unit upheld
Leicestershire Police & Rutland County Council Corruption Former Councillors Complaints investigated by anti corruption unit upheld.
Today a Rutland County Councillor has confirmed former Rutland County Councillors Nick
Wainwrights complaints about Leicestershire Police have been upheld.
The former Conservative, Anti corruption and then UKIP Councillor made complaints
similar to mine.
This involved the special relationship enjoyed by Helen Briggs the Chief Executive and
some Conservative Councillors.
I wonder what the consequences of this investigation will be?
Will this see police officer lose their jobs or face court?
Will Helen Briggs reign of continuous mistakes finally come to an end?
Will the Tory leadership at Rutland County Council step down?
I doubt it because they all appear to so easily admit mistakes,
errors and wrong doing, but none are never willing to accept responsibility for
those actions.
The Chief Constable Today at Melton Market.
I asked the chief constable to look into why the report which he said would be made public
has been sitting on a desk for some months now? Leicester Police have told me
the investigation report about my complaints will not be made public.
I think this is very telling and I am sure this won't please the former Mayor who
asked the Chief Constable at a public meeting if the investigation would be made public.
If the investigation comes to the same conclusion as Mr Wainwrights case
I don't think he will be happy to read that outcome.
The last communication I received from the Chief Constable was one year ago
things move very slowly within Leicestershire Police.
I am still awaiting my compensation for Sgt Wharton's defamation after he was
found guilty of discrediting the police force.
If my complaints have been upheld by the Anti Corruption Unit of Leicestershire
Police I hope Helen Briggs and the RCC Tory Leadership will step down along with
a handful of Oakham Town Councillors.
Leicestershire Police have acted appallingly supporting both organisations and
their political nastiness over the last five years. it's a great shame they chose
to support local rotten politics.
