The Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor June Stokes, will host the annual ‘Last Night of the Proms’ on Sunday 27th April 2014. The event will raise money for her chosen charities: “Inspire Peterborough”, Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, Wednesday PHAB Club and Parents United.

The usual favourites from the Last Night of the Proms, along with a selection of well-known pieces will be performed by local musicians. A prize raffle will also be held during the evening.

So come along, wave your Union Jacks, raise your bowler hats in a fun filled evening full of popular classics and favourite tunes.

Peterborough Opera and Stamford Brass will be playing on the evening, playing a selection of popular opera classics, songs from the first World War and Last Night of the Prom favourites.
