Horticulture Grounds Team Leader
(Work and Education Services)
Full Time (37.5 hrs/wk) from £9.05/hour (Depending on relevant experience)
We are looking for a confident, dynamic and forward thinking individual to fill the above role at The Lodge Trust CIO.

Duties include –
- To manage all grounds at The Lodge Trust within a set budget
- To ensure The Lodge Trust grounds and Country Park are maintained to a high standard
- To support and train individuals or a group of adults with various learning disabilities in horticulture skills.
- To assist in the assessment of an individual’s needs and capabilities and breaking down work processes to meet those needs.
- To work as part of the horticulture team and provide cover for other areas as required To support and liaise with the Work and Education Services manager.
- To support the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring all regulations are adhered to across site

Learning and Development Manager

Full-time (37.5 hrs/ wk); from £11.95/hour (depending on relevant qualifications, skills and experience)
We are looking for an experienced trainer to join our team and confidently deliver mandatory and other training to staff and Service Users.
You will be working in an ever changing environment and we seek a forward thinking individual who is flexible to grow with our expansion plans.
The Lodge Trust CIO currently supports 30 residents and 12 Day Service Users with learning disabilities who have chosen to live and work in a Christian lifestyle, based in the beautiful countryside of Rutland. Coming from all denominations, their spiritual wellbeing is as important to us as their physical and emotional wellbeing. Our Biblical beliefs shape everything we do, including the way we care for our residents and staff.
You will be responsible professionally for all learning and development of all staff and Service Users in the organisation.
You will also be are responsible for maintaining the Christian ethos of the organisation so there is an Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for this post to be held by a Christian who agrees with our statement of faith.

Duties include –
- working as a member of Country Park/ Work and Education Services team
- to provide a high quality, friendly service to the public
- supporting and training Service Users with learning disabilities
- day to day running the cafe (front of house)
- assisting the Country Café Coordinator
