UKIP Rutland, Melton and Harborough, No Whip, So What Is the Point? No UKIP Councillors on Rutland County Council? Letter

UKIP Rutland, Melton and Harborough, No Whip, So What Is the Point? No UKIP Councillors on Rutland County Council?

No UKIP Councillors on Rutland County Council?

Even today Rutland County Council states it has the following UKIP members

UKIP - UK Independence Party (3 Members - Leader Richard Gale, Councillor Wainwright, Councillor Richardson).

A letter published in  last weeks Rutland Times from Marietta King the UKIP branch chairman
which is quite damning contradicts this and states there are currently no UKIP Councillors
on Rutland County Council.

A few days ago Richard Gale told me he was not going to stand for UKIP.
He also told me he has never been a member of UKIP or paid any membership
fees.

I question why if the three councillors had tethered ties with UKIP many months ago
why was this not made public?

Why was Rutland County Council not told?

Why does the council website and the three councillors still say they are members of
UKIP.

Its a mystery...

Their website says:

New identity

We are now the Rutland Group of the United Kingdom Independence Party (RGUKIP) on Rutland County Council.

Richard Gale and Nick Wainwright are currently standing as independents.

Dave Richardson can not stand due to error with his nomination.

UKIP Rutland, Rutland County Council & Leicestershire Police Corruption "It Stinks" New Banner, Johnston Press, Rutland Times

UKIP Rutland, Rutland County Council & Leicestershire Police Corruption "It Stinks" New Banner

Members of the public have contacted the Rutland Times to ask why UKIP Rutland County Councillors
are staging their long term protest on Oakham High Street and why has the paper not given the protest
any coverage.

The UKIP Councillors have been contacted by the Rutland Times and told send in your photos and
story!

Why does the Johnston Press employ reporters locally who describe themselves as seniour journalists on Twitter?

When you look at the savage destruction of the local press by the Johnston Press, you would think anyone who is still employed by The Johnston Press and describes themself in that way would get of their arse and write some good column inches and not give the parent company any excuse to get rid of them.

Or perhaps Roger Begy, Briggs and Co have made a new friend at the paper?
