It is a shame Oakham Town Partnership has lost the ability to understand the meaning of partnership.
Uppingham Town Partnership works well with Uppingham Town Council and they don't tell the council they can't have their Christmas Light switch on at the same time as late night shopping.
It also shows how week and stupid the town council is that it gives in to a bunch of old Town Councillors who make up the partnership which is not a partnership.
Well done Uppingham another successful joint venture.
If Cllr Lowe keeps his word Oakham's will be better next year, he wants the Town Council to run the late night shopping event and provide all pitches to stall holders for free.
