Rutland County Council Complaints, If you complain more than once to the Rotten Borough, Banning the complainant from using some/or all of the Council’s services, for example libraries or leisure centres.

Rutland County Council Complaints, If you complain more than once to the Rotten Borough, You could be considered Vexatious and banned from council property and even telephoning the council.

Examples of unacceptable behaviour are:

1 Using abusive or foul language on the telephone
2 Using abusive or foul language face to face
3 Sending multiple emails, and
4 Leaving multiple voicemails
5 Making repeated telephone calls

I fully agree with the above 1 and 2 proposals,

I know many people who find dealing with the council very frustrating so
3, 4 and 5 seem a bit excessive.

Surely the council can just ignore those communications like they do
the first instances?

Banning the complainant from using some/or all of the Council’s services, for
example libraries or leisure centres.

Over the last two weeks of protesting out side the council I have met a
number of people who are dissatisfied with Rutland County Council
many of them making more than one unhappy visit.

There is a very nasty culture amongst senior officers at Rutland County
Council, I guess it can easily be described as a power trip.

I remember once waiting in the reception and over hearing the nasty
bravado of a female officer, after a man had said he would take legal
action against the authority, "I told him to bring it on!" she appeared
to enjoy other peoples upset.

From what I have seen Rutland County Council does not receive many
visitors so I assume if they are intent on banning those who do, are they
considering closing the office as part of their cuts?
