Oakham Driver, from Derwent Drive, Oakham, Rutland, charged After 10-Mile Police Pursuit Across Lincolnshire.
A 20-year-old man from Oakham has been charged with a string of driving and drug offences following a 10-mile police pursuit that ended when his car broke down.
Finn Weston, of Derwent Drive, Oakham, was arrested on Sunday afternoon, September 13, after leading officers on a chase across Lincolnshire.
The incident began at approximately 4:00 PM when police spotted a silver Ford Focus on the A153 at Sleaford.
The pursuit extended for a further 10 miles before coming to an abrupt halt when the Ford Focus suffered mechanical failure, forcing the driver to pull over in a layby near Tumby.
Finn Weston was subsequently taken into custody and charged with five separate offences, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, possession of drugs, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance
