Everyone ready for Christmas? Rutland chat Forum

Re: Everyone ready for Christmas?

The whole of Splunge's post about how much he hates Christmas was copied from this site by an unregistered intruder, and pasted onto another site in the UK as an example of the way that people, who used to occupy the original Rutnet site, think.
Unfortunately it backfired, because it immediately received a message of support from another reader on that site. :-RolF

Mr King,  the post was copied to show a view of Christmas.

The post typified feelings of a lot of people this year, not everything is about a bunch of retired photographers and ex councilors and council staff as you would like all too believe.

It is good to see the children of your forum still describe me with such affection.

Re: Everyone ready for Christmas?

The best kind of praise possible is to be mentioned on another forum (or in this case blog) and even better when the blogger concerned is the infamous Mr "Dog Poo" Brookes.

There's me thinking he'd vanished from the face of the earth and all the time he's still possibly lurking out there waiting to pounce on the poor unsuspecting supermarket shopper (or steaming dog turd). :-gig

Tesco Mini Blinis? None at Oakham Tesco

Tesco Mini Blinis? None at Oakham Tesco

One of my favourite treats at Christmas
The store manager said we don't sell them
any more.

Who controls what is sold
at Oakham Tesco, I am not the only customer
fed up with Tesco discontinuing lines as when it
pleases them. I hope this will change when they
expand the store.
