If you've never seen me sing with Choir Invisible, then come see me REALLY sing! "Choir Invisible don't go in for smoke and mirrors - this is pure, unadulterated, free-range, locally-sourced, totally passionate acapella! We'll be singing our distinctive repertoire: the big-hearted songs of South African gospel, and the blues-inflected, classic gospel of America's deep south alongside sweet soul music."

Rutland MP, Alan Duncan, Said "Local democracy is the front line of politics"

Oakham Town Council is still searching for new members.

Oakham Town Council increased its membership from six to eight.

The Council still needs to fill another four seats.

Rutland MP Alan Duncan (Conservative) spoke to Megan Horner at the Rutland Mercury

He said " Local democracy is the front line of politics, and councillors are
the people that make the decisions for the local community. People sometimes
criticise politicians for not doing enough to help them; by joining  Oakham Town Council
they have the opportunity to help each other."
