The office for National Statistics (ONS)
who run the census in
England and Wales
are encouraging people
to take part in the next Census

The Census is an important document, which
estimates the population for an area, which
in turn determines the funding that local authorities
receive to fund services
The last census achieved an excellent
response rate of 94%
however some communities recorded very low
response rates, which had a potentially adverse
effect on funding
