Royce Recreation Ground Oakham
Royce Recreation Ground Oakham
Yesterday the large swing nest vanished? Torn, from it fittings.
Thursday morning the Council will be meeting with kompan to discuss an alternative piece of equipment. Sad because the majority of the young people find this the most fun piece of equipment, whilst a few have repeatedly abused the use and caused repeated destruction.
Young people have also pulled down the goal posts, set small fires around the play area. Attempts were made to set fire to four large tractor tires at the rear of the gymnasium
Local residents living nearby found their garden fences damaged.
One local resident said It’s only the first day of the half term holiday!
Update Tuesday morning it appears a local resident may have cut done the swing, police have been informed.
