Rutland County say all missed bin collections have now been collected.CA sites are open as normal. All collections are now on schedule.
Garden waste collections are cancelled until the next scheduled collections in January 2011.

Further Winter Weather Advice
All agencies in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are work together during the cold weather to keep people safe and ensure our communities can go about their daily business.
Every effort is made to keep disruption to a minimum but people are urged to remember the important messages below.
• Drivers should familiarise themselves with gritted routes and stick to the main roads. Please see the gritting pages of Rutland County Councils website for more information.
• Adapt your driving style to the conditions and remember:
- conditions can change very quickly. If they are hazardous, consider whether your journey is really necessary
- to plan your journey
- to allow extra time
- to avoid braking sharply
- to be aware of vehicles around you

• Look out for vulnerable neighbours, family members or friends who may need help with shopping and other daily living tasks.
• Frozen water is not safe and children and adults should keep off it at all times. Owners should either avoid walking their pets near frozen water or make sure dogs are kept on leads.
