A party that has lasted almost a week has disturbed residents in Willow Cresent and caused misery as far afield as the David Wilson Estate and in particular Wensum Close.

      Resident say they contacted the police, and they claimed they were unable to act, this left matters to the residents who stood outside the flat in Willow Cresent in an attempt to get the tenants to reduce the noise. When approached, one of the revellers responded to a request to turn the music down by saying “All you have to do is ask”. Other residents were verbally abused.

   Week Long Party in Willow Close, Oakham

Within 30 minutes of turning the volume down it was turned back up disturbing everyone within half a mile of Willow Crescent. It was apparently a “St Georges Day” celebration. The flat, an ex local authority property, is now managed by Spire Homes which is where the residents will deliver their petition tomorrow and collect complaint forms for all those affected by the noise.
