Can anyone explain why police patrolling the area around Church Street Oakham failed to stop a single car driver leaving the car park after what appeared to be a Rutland Conservative Ladies night out.
The ladies enjoyed plenty of wine whilst answering questions. I think they needed the wine to keep awake as the questions were very mundane political ones.
I must say the Conservative ladies really know how to enjoy a Saturday night out.
I won't describe her condition here, I will only say I was surprised to see former Councillor Jan Fillingham OBE has returned to the road. For sometime now she has been escorted by her respectable friends the Tyers

I also wonder why Rutland County Council has once again issued her with a temporary residents parking permit.
First it was the blue badge abuse then a residents permit and now a temporary one. what will come next free limo service to the next bottle event?
