Burley Road, Residents Nights of Hell, Oakham Drinkers Trash anything on route
Burley Road and other in Oakham have been suffering from weeks of late night anti social behaviour.
One resident spoke at a recent police meeting held at Rutland County Council, He lives in Burley Road and complained his entire hedge was ripped up and chucked into the road. Inspector Monks said he was aware of an increased problem in Oakham caused by late night drinking, he had requested extra resources. We were told there would be four officers on patrol instead of the normal two. Above is the result of Friday nights activities a Porto Loo is trashed and safety fencing has obstructed a main pedestrian route into town since.
Another resident told me the Road has steadily become worse, since moving to what he thought was a quiet town from Stamford, his nights have been disturbed for many years now by cars racing in the Burley Road Car Park and sounding their horns till the early hours of the morning.
Traffic lights have been trashed and fencing surrounding dangerously deep excavations have been removed
