Oakham Town Councillor and Mayor Joyce Lucas has falsely accused a member of public of theft

The Town Clerk Richard White said the Chairman Cllr Lucas had made contact with the Royal British Legion Stamford, The Clerk passed on information received from Cllr Lucas in which she suggested a act of theft may have been carried out by the member of the public, she alos discredits the member of the public.

The member of the public is very upset and is now awaiting a response from Councillor Lucas to provide evidence to back her claims and reserves the right to take legal action against her. The member of the public is also reserving her right to raise a standards complaint.
