Rutland Multum-in-Parvo Beer Festival, Camra, Rutland County Museum
Thursday 23rd - Sunday 26th June 2011
The programme advises:
The exhibits in the Museum (what remains) are a wonderful example of agricultural machinery; great to look at,but definitely not for touching. Apart from the risk of damage to the equipment, some of it can inflict serious injury.
Festival goers are asked not to place drinking glasses where they may damage exhibits if knocked over.
Beer and museums surely don't mix?
Why was the event not held at Rutland Water Four Winds Festival or in a tent in the Council Car Park or Chamber?
The festival goers are asked not to smoke in the museum garden. The museum garden is a hidden gem created and maintained by Oakham in Bloom volunteers, a garden much smaller than my own. I hope this won't get trashed.
