Lawson Piano Trio
Emerging as one of the finest ensembles if its
generation the Lawson Trio has a busy concert
schedule in Britain and abroad, bringing a wide
range of traditional and contemporary Piano Trio
music to audiences of all ages.
They celebrate the 150th anniversary of
Debussy's birth, pairing his youthful trio with a
work by David Knott, illustrating nature's elusive
beauty, which was commissioned by the group
for its South Bank debut in 2010. These pieces
are framed by Mozart's final piano trio and
Brahms's epic trio in B.
Mozart Trio in G. K. 564
Debussy Trio No. 1 in G
David Knotts The Long Way Home
Brahms Trio in B, op, 8
Music In The Round Informal, friendly concerts, arranged in-the-round and introduced personally by the musicians.
Supported by Arts Council England
Music in the Round is delighted to be working with Chamberstudio, which gives performance opportunities
to some of the most exciting artists in the UK
