21st - 25th November: Victorian Christmas at Rockingham Castle11am – 8pm daily
It’s Christmas Eve 1849 and the Castle is decorated for a nostalgic Victorian Christmas where guided tours in period costume take place throughout the day. Christmas shopping with a difference in the Gift Shop offering an exciting range of gifts for friends & family.

Sunday 4th December: Oakham School Choral Society Concert: Saint Nicholas 7.30pm
This concert has a real Christmas flavour, opening with Vaughan Williams’ much loved work and Finzi’s popular cantata, In Terra Pax. Benjamin Britten’s dramatic work, Saint Nicolas, tells the story of the bishop of Myra, on whom Santa Claus is based.

Friday 9th December: Rutland Christmas Concert Live@The Museum 7pm
Come and enjoy a fantastic festive concert performed by the local Clarion Young Singers and the Rutland Concert Band.

Thursday 15th December: Carol Concert at Oakham Castle 7pm

16th & 17th December: Rutland's Christmas Pantomime - Aladdin. Live@ The Museum, Oakham
Packed full of fun, magic, songs and great characters, Aladdin is bound to have the whole family laughing and shouting ‘he’s behind you!’
