Join the music department and members of the
whole school community for Oakham's major
concert of 2012: a stunning performance of
Handel's masterpiece, Messiah, set in the jewel-like
interior of the Sheldon Theatre in Oxford.
Enjoy all your favourites, including the thrilling
Hallelujah Chorus, sung by Oakham School Chapel
Choir. They will be accompanied by the superb
period instrument ensemble, Charivari Agreable,
who are recognised as "one of the classiest baroque
bands" around. The English countertenor and rising
star, William Towers, joins leading pupil singers to
perform those solo arias.
