The Death of the Oakham Town Partnership, Chairman Vernon Moore Resigns

The Death of the Oakham Town Partnership

Sadly Vernon Moore has resigned as chairman of the Town Partnership.

The new Chairman is Oakham Town Councillor Alfred Dewis.
This man does not have a clue about business and it needs.
He takes on the role to satisfy his over inflated ego.
Cllr Dewis did once own his own employment consultancy company that was liquidated some years ago.
To satisfy his ego he continues to use the email address of the liquidated limited company.

The members of the partnership are currently discussing forming two new groups.

Now there is the problem there are too many committees in this town and county, made up of the same old
faces who wont allow new people to join.

Those people who I have spoke to are often put off attempting to join, due to the monopolization of these groups by local councillors. Which in turn inevitable sees the groups demise.
For example The Chamber of Commerce.
