Stormy Travel, Cross Country Trains, Melton Mowbray, Oakham Rutland
Today the weather made travelling ten mile a little difficult. After a tree fell between Ely and March it was found the signal system had been damaged, causing long delays on our line.
Strangely the rain stopped when I left home and when I returned home so I managed to keep dry.
Melton Market was a bit thin.
The new station information systems at Oakham and Melton Mowbray were not much use providing incorrect information for most of the day.
