Police Seek Views of Older People to Shape Service

Older people from all over Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are invited to an event which will shape the future for policing service to older members of society.

The meeting being held at Age UK, has been organised to draw together the viewpoints from older people in our communities to inform the way the Force does business. The event will explore thoughts about policing, feelings of safety in the community, media habits, and thoughts on ageism or crime committed against older people.

The event is to be held on Friday 24th February 2012 at 10.00am to 12.30pm at Age UK, Clarence House 46 Humberstone Gate, Leicester LE1 3PJ.

If you live in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland and would be interested in attending the event, please contact Clarence House Reception on 0116 2992233  or e-mail enquiries@ageukleics.org.uk
