A lunch time concert on Good Friday afternoon, "is this a good idea?" we hear you wonder.
We hope it will be, especially as the programme consists of an irresistibly beautiful and moving piece of music totally appropriate for such a day. In addition, as it will be performed by the highly recommended Benyounes Quartet - four young ladies all hailing from the British Isles - it would be foolish to resist the temptation. Reading the list of prestigious awards and venues they have performed at makes one wonder how they fitted it all in to the last four years since they met at the Royal Northern College of Music.
This summer they are invited to Dartington Summer Music as String Quartet in Residence.
